Bayshore Stables is operated by Derek Van Der Burgh. Derek’s enthusiasm for the sport and his desire to help his clients grow into better riders and horsemen pushed him to found his program.

Derek Van Der Burgh Derek has over 20 years of experience in the equine industry. He has worked and shown up and down the east coast of the United States, and he spent a year training abroad in Belgium. Since settling down in Tampa, FL in 2020, Derek’s goal has been to foster strong working relationships with Tampa Bay equestrians. After establishing Bayshore Stables, Derek’s focus has been on every aspect of his clients’ experience, from daily care to curated training exercises to the showing experience. No detail is too small when is comes to the horses’ health and happiness.
